Openings Poem by Francisco R. Albano

Openings

Consider the sky:
Like mercy
A flower of purpose
Breathing earth fire
Invites to secrets
Beyond openings
Closed to cloud
Drifters or birds
Simply winging
Through necessity

Consider the sky:
Like love
A tease with cracks
The shape of lightning
Dares us to be bold
Like heaven
In thunder
That once rushed into
Kairos of a Virgin
And filled her
