It was dream realized
The wish was truly fulfilled
I had life long desire
To join defense forces and serve

Not all people may think
That country needs some on to write with ink
The glorious history with sacrifice
And assure countrymen with promises

It is simple and honorable part
The life is shaped with difficult start
The training is hard and vigorous
The tradition is well known and famous

Once you are inducted
You need well be instructed
Trained in special manner and taught
That is needed in different terrain and sought

As a young boy, it was an awful experience
But you got to adjust and adapt at once
It is disciplined life with well built principles
Always ready for country in any struggle

I was fortunate enough to have enrolled
It was as if the county had called
I had honor of being as one member
That gave me an opportunity to remember
