The niceties of life are primarily to be found
in one's close friendships and long term love relationships
and not in the tumultuous unquiet examinations of self
For self examination..... however required or desired
Usually leads to our defeats and seldom results in a victory
As we are nothing more than who we are when we interact
for better or worse we become like those we cherish
If I give love....others reciprocate.....
Bullshit....Who the hell am I kidding.....Others give back squat!
Not one iota of compassion....zilch or nine....who gives a damn....
All that time and investment and you're lucky to even get audited
For all anyone cares you could crawl up your own ass
and die a maggots death...or rebirth....or or or or or or or or

Well I liked the beginning, the positive thought of the good that comes from long term realtionships...Miss that and the moments with those I shared...That saying that ' sometimes youth is wasted on the young' comes to mind, as back in the days we grabbed on to what we thought was love all the while being way too young to do so and go for long term.....Your ending.......wrong, people care, so it's all worth it....cheer up Ted! Oh, I am SO not going to agree with this, whilst loving the usual forceful, from-the-hip expression. Yeh, grumpy, go have some caffeine, or rum if you prefer, and think about the 'or' options.... (but I do love it) .. t x
