Ordinary Aviation Poem by Luke J. Holt

Ordinary Aviation

The gull and his fat heart
Cuts air like a slanted knife through big grey bread
He flaps and beats; blemished, paranoid bird
Believes his bones will fill with rain if he waits for thecsun in rainclouds
