Ordinary Love Poem by Diajeng Retnoningtyas

Ordinary Love

Look at the rainbow in the sky, it has seven colours
Red, violet, yellow, green, blue, indigo, purple…
One of each is an ordinary colour
But they are linked each other into extraordinary one.
I love your sketchiness, you love my scrawl
You are my viceroy who lives in your own kingdom
Without castile and its glory
Where are the armies?
What about your carriage pulled by some strong-black and elegant horses?
You love me because I love you for granted
Hey, look at the rainbow!
It’s very ordinary, just like our love
I want you to know one thing:
When I’m mad like a crazy poet,
Or like Socrates when he found his new theory about earth,
For what I shout you with unpleasant words
Those are not the real me
I’m only a woman with gentle and a fragile heart
Who’s afraid of loosing your love
Who wants to keep you for my own self,
Shall I give my heart, my true heart?
My faith is to be with you till the day I die
I'm ordinary, my love is also ordinary
like the dew drips from the lilac's shoot
If you love me too, keep my heart shining forever
Don't ever let it deary as the stick's candle runs out its time
oh light of my heart...you complete my losted half-side bone
You overlap my soul as I find my lost oneThis ordinary love will last forever nit like the rainbow
oh, yes I do love you...
