Other World Poem by Moth Harris

Seems to me this place is strange
Turned around while me life rearanged
Seems to me that this is some other world
because I'm not lost or bemused

I used to think it was so far away
Just a day before it came, It's like I had a new name
A new life, A new game because nothing was the same to me
I made believe but it never came true, then along came you
and this other world.

Now I can't back down, I stand my ground
For this other world I have found
and I plant my flag and amazingly it starts to grow
All this time I didn't know about this other world

So I set fire to the forests of the old world
Dried up all of the seas
blew away every last desert
To make room for you and me
and our other world
