Salute the teachers who had made
Us see the world and learn what's life;
Salute the persons who had laid
The foundations of ken through strife.
Salute the souls who changed our fate,
And made our future rosy, bright;
Salute the lives who taught till date
Dispelling darkness, throwing light.
Salute the ones who spoke by heart,
And made us walk the righteous lane;
Salute the lamps who on their part
Alit our lives, without a cane.
Salute the teachers who showed love,
Comforting us when things went wrong;
Honour the Fays who like a dove
Showed us to fly and sing life's song.
