Our Divine Friend Poem by Linda May Fox

Our Divine Friend

The inspiration of my heart
To move a solid rock that lay across the path,
The path of life for all to tread
With a faith that moves us to a way ahead,
Fore our inspiration is none than our divine but earthly friend,
The divine who suffered within a suffering world.
If he were not divine
Then life belongs to rich and powerful, men,
But as the heart speaks of life, freedom and justice for all
The inspiration of he who gently calls
Then the life of he is truly divine.
