Our Everglow (Dedicated To Nee-San) Poem by Kevin Wang

Summary: When we first met along this cumbersome road, it felt as if there was an old family reunion. Believing everyday may be a good day as long as the stars twinkle and there is a full moon. While time flies by so quickly, but with our old spirits still lingering together, I still feel so distant, so far away from you while wondering ‘do you miss me? ’. We got to spend a little more time hanging out. As life passed by so quickly with you away for so long, we should catch a break and talk our past lives. No matter what, ni-chan will be there asking ‘Do you need help? ’. But while you have other things to do, I’ll still be waiting. Either way, so far away, we’d be together if not by spirits but by your singing voice with my written words and together is our Everglow.)
Listening to the waves flow
Watching the light ever glow
Sinking beneath the waves
Kissing belonging with its special friend

Looking up per say
The stars giggling with a light color
Loving the fact
For the moon is swelled up
Saying hey to a good day

Seasons fall
Days go
Our spirits still connected
Yet a missed face
Does it ever shine in here?

Walking along the bay
Singing with the crickets
Count the stars
Rest a little more
‘cause I’ll always be there

Waiting a spark
Waiting for a tune
This special talk
Up this broken boulevard

Wishing dreams
Wishing well
I seek these days ever so swell
Hoping you’ve also been faring well
