Our Flag Poem by Bryan Seyffert

I pledge allegiance to the Flag
Representing peace and unity
I'll remember daily for what it stands
And the lives lost in pursuit of liberty

This flag is not mere cloth or rag
But a symbol of unity, liberty and freedom
So many lost for these here lands
Almost ashamed at what we've become

Seems the Flag has caught a snag
The lies and cover ups becoming wide spread
Time to bow our heads and fold our hands
Before it becomes just a pile of threads...
