Mother’s day passed off with sentiments
With praiseworthy words and comments
We all observed and expressed our concern
At the plight of each and every women

Mother cared for whole of the family
But father carried it all single handedly
He worked day and night for welfare
He ventured into areas and dared

If mother was compassionate figure
Father was there to assure future
Children were taken care
Family was pushed in right direction further

If family had any difficulty
He knew it in advance already
He will not make it known
To the member of family even

He is backbone for all
He has daring power to match any call
Let us stand together to express
Our gratitude must always find access
