Our Memories Poem by Robert Longley

Our Memories

Rating: 5.0

It’s times like these we question
The choices that we make
When left to our devices
We can’t right our mistakes

A call is left unanswered
A bell no longer tolls
A path no longer trodden
Where once we chanced to stroll

Somewhere there are memories
You’ll find them off and on
And little things that remind you
Now that I am gone

So carry close the moments
We shared along the way
And I’ll watch you build new memories
Each and every day
