Our Parents Poem by Dale Garman

Honour our father and mother, it is one of the ten
commandments of almighty God Himself. He had it
listed as the fifth one, pretty much in the middle
of the commandments themselves. Now if we obeyed
this God-given order, everywhere all over the-
world, there would be millions of happier
elderly folks in the twilight of life itself,
and also the ones doing the honouring. They would
be happy too, for they would be obeying a direct
order of their creator and he would bless them
too, Amen.
