Our Path From Youth Poem by Alexander Johnson

Our Path From Youth

A long and sometimes rocky path lies behind us.
But as you look backdown the path, the bumps are not so apparent,
the rocks become so small that you cannot see them.
All that is left is the path and as long as you and the ones you love are still on it, happiness is possible.
The path does not need to be in the same town, the same city or the same country,
even if we look out on different skies,
we will share our days together,
even if all the waves of all the oceans lie between us,
We can dip our feet in the sea and paddle together in the same waters...
It is a path we will walk together, no matter what.
