Our Rainbow Poem by Holly Jamestone

Our Rainbow

The building blocks laid of each memory we keep
Will color Our Rainbow where clouds never weep
And though you may leave, you’re truly not gone
Because in our hearts thoughts of love carry on

We’re lucky the Gift of Each Other bestowed
Will tide us both over as you’re on the road
We don’t need to say see you later for now
As we’ll pick back up where we left off somehow

I miss you already but you’re always near
Inside of my being, My Loved One, My Dear
To cherish together our Gift of Each Other
Two hearts overflowing with love for another

With foundation planted, our garden of love
A seed of enchantment with light from above
Will kiss with delight all the memories we make
And color Our Rainbow beside Heaven’s Lake

This Gift of Each other beside Heaven’s lake
Is blessed by the angels and ours now to take
To water, to germinate, watching it grow
In all of its brilliance with more seeds to sow

The building blocks strong of the memories we keep
Will color Our Rainbow where clouds never weep
So be on your way now, your back to the sun
And know our adventures have only begun
