Our Ruins Poem by Joseph Narusiewicz

Our Ruins

Copious lips brazen with sea shore
I have hurt you
Now you heal and I see
I see you in the sun
I see you in the moon

You stood with silent tears
I seen the ghost leave
I knew you were deep
Now the jade wind chisels
Resolute hearts entering the narrows

We walk together again
Mercy has found our cove
Your flowered dress of joy
My intellect no longer protects me
We dance like seagulls

Our ruins brightened by another world
