Out To Dance - It's The Moon! Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

Out To Dance - It's The Moon!

Out the dance - under the moon
The nymphs in transparent
Dresses.
The fauns pipe wine
The Sileni the ale
The satyrs wine

The hedgehogs they came
Out in troops
Division by division
Division after division
Drumming
Marching

The animals of the wood
Not far
From their habitats
March too
Few
In rarer clusters:
All
Are out - in the soft moon!

You
Come
You
Come too
Sweet lovers
Refrain
From your embraces
And sweet kisses
Come
Dance together
There's the search light of
The moon
The kindly moon
And time is almost stopping!

The dance has just
Till Dawn!
A fading will then
Come
Remain
Remembrances.
