Walking that day, outside and alone
Hoping to catch that scent of cologne

Praying to hear that small, sweet voice
In loving you, I have no choice

To see your lips caught close to mine
To feel your hand upon my spine

Take small strides so you can see
The longing for a walk with thee

Loving how you act all day
So I get on my knees to pray

Though evil always lurks so near
With the Lord, I shall not fear

I realize now, now on my own
I am walking that day outside and alone
