Outsiders Poem by Emma Lee

Outsiders

Rating: 5.0

you,
you jerk,
liar,
freak,
uncaring jerk, liar and freak.
you said it...
you meant it...
for real
i mean this for real too
im different.
are you different too?
i though we had something speical...
i believed you and i were different...special, unique...outsiders.
but were not
face it baby
were not
were nothing
your nothing
im something
something isnt nothing
your nothing...
but a stick
in the mud
in a rainstorm
being trampled on
am i nothing?
or are you?
make it up.
you said so yourself..................thats why i say liar...you say lies.
tell me the truth.
because i want to have something special again
please
i would die for you
even though your nothing

'I believed you and I were different...special, unique...outsiders.' This poem seems summed up in this line that the author tells reader. Pleasant, pressing, at the end a little melancholy rhytmn.
