A friend so dear, a love so true,
These words may be overdue.
But on this special day, your birth,
I'll express the feel, its worth.

Your love for me, a radiant flame,
Burning bright, never to be tame.
Though I may not always show,
In my heart, your love does grow.

Through every storm, your love stands strong,
Though distance is far you prove I belong.
It lights up the corners of my being,
With tenderness and affection, ever freeing.

Though I may struggle to convey,
The depths of love you hold is true come what may. And I know it.

So, on this day, across the miles,
I send you a gift, my heart's smiles.
Happy birthday, my dear friend,
Together, forever, our love shall transcend.
