Overheard Seas Poem by Antonio Liao

Overheard Seas

limb jump for joy
standing on board roaring the rough sea
and the wave keeps touching my knee
thou sheltering it seem under a stormy
clear way

knocking the wind in speed
that even the seagull cloud fly behind
without the shading clouds; faster
than any winged creature
toward the East of the blue ocean the
eyes can never see

doubt trouble me not, sweat cooled
my senses, as the night come
after the day
and the star lighted every path
for the roaring wave bravely paddle every lap
and kiss overboard floor
of the sea

...time comes closer, waiting the deep
blue water to sip the ocean floor
