Oxygen Poem by Nina gáspari

Oxygen

There you are
Walking into my life again
Brought along some oxygen
Life was crazy without you
Breathing was heavy and difficult to do
Somehow the chaos took over
And I didn´t realize I needed you closer
There you are
And I can finally breathe again
Starting to think you may be my oxygen
You´re not the reason I breathe
But you sure make life easier for me
My heart beats at its normal speed
I no longer get weak on the knees
Oxygen
My primal need
Where do I start?
I often get lost in your dimples
Everytime you smile
Oxygen
You´re here.. and I can finally breathe again.
