Pain, From You. Poem by Jon Evans

Pain, From You.

This life full of pains
Used me and abused me, did you
All the torture remains
The memories left are few
All of them full of anguish
Sorrow, suffering you made me feel
You left me to languish
In the cruel world where we keel
Not only did you destroy me
You left me stranded and alone
In this dark where I cannot see
I needed your guidance down the path which you had shown
But you tore me asunder
Through your lies and deceit
You let go and watched me plunder
All that is left is to accept defeat
Slowly my pains will grow
Misery will then takeover and leave me for dead
A smile on your face will show
Because you’re twisted in that sick little head
I remember the times when you would console
But now I have nothing in this life
But the thought of you shatters my soul
You are nothing to me in this strife
So darkness now covers my world
Alone I shall feel, lost I shall be
For evil around has been unfurled
So, cold and bitter will be me.
