Painful Road Poem by Wael Karameh

I knew from the beginning our relation will be so tough
Darkness, loneliness, regret and a way so rough…
In spite of that I have decided to go…
As if I wanted eagerly to do so…
To revenge from myself
To forget my hard past
And may be …
To try to slow down the years running fast! ! !

Time had passed…
Now, I knew I was wrong…
Nothing can be changed in our life
If the change does not start in the mind…
Love is just like a strange song
It could be nice, it could be happy
But at the end…
It is a couple of words flying with the music
And in reality you may not find…
Finally, we are left alone…
Walking with our memories
On that painful road...
