Palestinian Hope Poem by Khaoula Basty

Palestinian Hope

Rating: 4.0

I am a child
Aged Five years old
And I have a dream
I hope, I hope, I hope
I hope that one day
I can study in my school peacefully
I hope
That I can play with my friends in our neighborhood peacefully
I hope
That I can visit the zoo with my family peacefully
I hope
That I can have a pet at home
I hope
That I can breathe a fresh air
I hope
That can go and pray in Jerusalem
I hope
That I can listen to the Quran in every mosque
I hope
That I can listen to the bell it tolls in every church
I hope
That people can visit us from all over the world for free
I hope
That our land will be green, roses everywhere, song of birds
I am Palestinian
I am Palestinian
I am Palestinian
Is there anybody there?
Is there anybody who can listen?
Is there anybody who can understand?
Is there anybody who can, can help can help us?
Help the Palestinian people!
We need help in order to save our land from Zionist!
