Papa Poem by Julie Schleppegrell

Papa

Rating: 4.8

Prime: is the role to his daughter,
for, he was the first man in sight.
No other will compare to what he taught her,
imbedded in her soul as her search takes flight.
... From child to adult, he is the protector, the savior, the guide,
The ultimate love she can always confide.
As life phases change,
we must travel through, an emotional sail through the tide.
As it may be hard feelings for us to arrange,
the proof he was there with us is in the tears he's cried.
As he will never leave us, we shall never stray our first love, our Father.

Thanks key :) I like that. As life phases change Is bad grammar. I am ocd when it comes to the rhyming, and adjust with sort of schizophrenic form of reading. :)) : p [3

Fathers are a significant part of life. Nothing compares to a good dad. And we should appreciate them. Thanks for the reminder.
