Paper Cranes Sanity Poem by J. Matthew Thacker

Paper Cranes Sanity

We walk with out a cause
we talk with no heart
we make a pass on love
but its like shooting in the dark

We hold on to our sanity
we grip tight before the fire
we act tough because we are vulnarable
but that is why we are liers

We feel as if our skin is gone
we say we have no care
we assume love will be cured
but its a cross that we'll just have to bare.
