Parade Fun Poem by Marilyn Lott

Parade Fun

Don’t you love a fun parade?
Folks gathered along the street
Exciting things that pass you by
And friendly people to meet?

We had one just the other day
Right down the center of town
Wonderful wagons rolled on by
Oh, I love a parade kind of sound

The cutest buggies you’ve ever seen
One pulled by a couple of mules
It really makes you smile
And there aren’t a lot of rules

The day was nice and warm
Sun beat down so strong
As the animals strolled past
Horses with their babies along

So be sure to take the time, folks
To enjoy the local parades
Always delicious food as well
That’s where summer fun is made!
