Paradox Poem by ...C Cleverly

Paradox

Paradigm unlocks truths made in paradox,
As softest water wears down the hardest rocks,
Dark-nest wombs child-guide the brightest light,
Made in silence they scream with wild delight
And despair as they grasp vulnerability, gasp air,
Speak tongues, sleep tight, carefree slaves of care.
Axed from the tree of life these uncarved blocks
Masters of nothing, now mystery all, from mite to might,
Become mountain, become the rock the rivers wear.
Hear the bamboo breeze of beliefs, of birds in flocks
And sit at night, temple tight yet split; a moon lit night.
Vacant yet full, a vagrant fool with a fragrant prayer:
A paradigm, a padma, an ashen plume, plumbed paradox.
