Parasite
You were nothing but a parasite
A worthless leach that feasted on my body
A poor man begging for a coin
With an empty cup that won't ever be filled
You were nothing but a drug
A harmful chemical that ate at my soul
A dealer desperate to sell
Giving me an addiction with the hope to quite
You were nothing but a boy
A wounded soul who thought he had loved
A naive child who believed in magic
When his history already broke him
I was nothing but a fool
A sad puppy just wanting attention
Giving out love with nothing in return
Then was hit too many times to love anymore
You are nothing but a dream
A whisper of a man who should have been loved
A being who wants to fly
But will do nothing but fall out of the sky
