Parasitic Love Poem by Sarah Pajarillo

Parasitic Love

This is one of my first poems in 5 years! so please bear with me!

Secrets bury themselves in this cave and
years show the damage
-torn apart
-beaten down
Outside she clearly bleeds while jagged razors
kiss her delicate skin
Attempting to hide from his perversion
she fails- allowing him to sense all she fears
Just a confectionary department for your keeping
His negligence for her feelings are monumental
His eyes keep look-out
The breath down her neck is hypnotic
She grows weaker by the minute
as does her hatred of the LOUSE
