Parks And What You Meant To Me Poem by Starrbox Munoz

Parks And What You Meant To Me

Take my hand and let's go for a walk in the park.
Do you remember our first kiss, or the dress I wore that day?
Has it been so long that you've forgotten this?
It brings so many memories being with you at this moment.
In this very park where we shared kisses and laughs together.
Can you recall the perfume I wore that day, or the taste of the wine we drank sitting beneath the tall oak tree?
That very same tree in which you carved a heart with our names engraved inside.
Do you still not see how much you mean to me?
How long has it been? Why did you forget?
I'll just have to hold onto the memories we shared in this park;
And to what you meant to me.
