Parts Not Known Poem by Vera Sidhwa

Parts Not Known

Parts not Known

My parts not known, got me into trouble.
You see, the ignorance of myself did not work well.
My parts not known, got me into a quandary,
About who I was and what I was capable of.

I never understood the real me.
I couldn't grasp meditation.
The inner parts alluded me.
The outer parts were out of synch.

Each of us affects the other,
And ignorance gets you nowhere.
It effects others in a deleterious way,
And harms those around us.
