Paryusana…festival on card

From today Jain sect shall observe
Full eight days to serve
For the cause of internal peace
And whole of life to spent at an ease

Even though in minority
They are known as trading community
Fully adhering the principles of non violence
If life as well as in practice

Their diet is strictly vegetarian
"Even ascendancy is very ancient" confirmed by historians
The thrust is made on internal purity
Not to cause harm even to he insects

The religion has pure and true character
There is no god but only 24 Tirthankars*
They are not god but messengers
True guide for followers

The jains* are different from others
They donate generously and offer
The followers donate for the protection of birds
They run the homes for incapable and animals

So many may be keeping fasts
The temples shall be flocked
The lectures shall be delivered
And broad interpretation shall also be offered

Jains* the follower of Jainism.. the person
who has control over desires..

*Tirthankars.. the Messengers of god
