Passing Poem by Alc Harris

Passing

Rating: 4.0

Did I pass love on the pathway of life
Side by side on this twisting road
Did I not look in your direction, as a breeze
Took away my compose
For an eternity we shared a moment
As Our souls met and turned us around
Slightest shift from the projection Of fate
To which we all are bound
Did I not share your breath for a second
As mouths entered their gentle embrace
If only as my eyes did wander, to caress
The beauty of your face
A mystical place does surround you
So much spoken without a word
Was it felt by me only
Or did my heart beat so that you heard..
Now your warmth keeps alive this memory
As time drives me on down this road
until we pass in this life once again
Time leaves me empty and cold
