Passing Of The Times Poem by Melissa Koeman

Passing Of The Times

Looking at the sky
And saw the clouds rapidly passing by
The world spins and spins
Round and round
Over and over again
Time passes in a blink of an eye
Nothing lasts forever
The good moments seem to short
The bad moments seem way to long
Then time suddenly stops
And the world stops spinning
All those hours of pain and darkness
It seems an endless story
It holds you in its iron grip
It keeps you chained
When will it all be better?
Time heals all wounds…
Isn’t that what they always say?
But then time doesn’t pass so rapidly by anymore
It’s creeping and creeping….
The world stops
And you are stuck in a loop
Hoping that time passes by faster then it ever did before
