Passion - Poem by Kristen Woods

It lies in all of us,

And though unwanted,
It will stir
Open its jaws and howl

It speaks to us, guides us
PASSION rules us all,
And we obey,
What other choice do we have?

PASSION is the source of our finest moments
The Joy of LOVE,
The Clarity of HATRED,
And the Ecstasy of GRIEF

It hurts sometimes,
More than we can bear
If we could live without PASSION maybe we'd know some kind of peace

But we would be hollow,
Empty rooms,
Meaningless lives,

Withiut PASSION we'd be truly,

This is a great poem. It really worked nicely when it was originally on Buffy... Seems like there would be some kind of button or something to report plagiarized poems though.. (Report) Reply

I agree, this poem was taken from the Buffy the Vampire Eposide 'Passion', as a voice over. It was the third season, and written by a guy named TJ. Sorry, but this was plagerized. (Report) Reply

This poem is good but it was already used on the Passion episode in Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Did you write it for that too? (Report) Reply

I agree with Prasanna. But I have never known passion, and my life is just that; empty. Thanks for sharing, Kristen. Barbara (Report) Reply
