Passionately Confused Poem by Dennis Mzwakhe Pitso

Passionately Confused

Rating: 5.0

On an ancient stone we sketched dreams upon faded dreams
Sentiment rigid like a figure-eight knot
Zeal mystified and perception rectified on the rail you led
I stole an unclouded heart of a seraphic being and Lord knew I never felt guilty
With a broken limb I clambered on a step-ladder trying to reach out for her unresolved anguish
Compassion dry 'til I found her in my wet mental picture
Flooded with divine moments, we blessed our destiny before it's time
Sound poetic...I vomited a rhyme after a rhyme
Walking on a thin lane...I pronounced her as my equilibrium
Conciousness in a dead state
Conceived a minute ago, our minds seems to be channeled in a dirty slate
Upon expriences are written in a red ink
I browsed and found her as my love-link
When you layed ur mystic eyes on me, my breath became an act of silence on radio ''dead-air''
As mental proccesses circulated around your artistic image
I acknowledged that beauty is art when your smooth skin reflected nothing beyond your age
''We belong together'' but we are never fused
I guess we are passionately confused
