Passport Poem by Varghese J Kuttikat

Passport

Integrity immaculate opens the doors of paradise
That is what the Scriptures Sacred promise
The eminence intellectual may bring you glory on Earth
Which is evanescent and evaporates at the last breath
For glory eternal, one should be a child guileless
At least at the last moment of final farewell awesome
God will set into oblivion all the foul history of the repentant
An astronaut well-equipped may soar up into heavens
But the Kingdom of Heaven would remain closed to him;
If he fails to produce passport of integrity immaculate
