Past Tense Poem by Tatianna Rei Moonshadow

Past Tense

It seems to make the very air explode
In our dangerous fiery crash
Didn't you hear the harmonic music
Of the way our words always clash
Your not the same person I used to know
But I noticed I've changed too
Sometimes I want to watch you bleed
Even though I still love you
You seem so fidgety and nervous
As if you don't belong
When just a few years ago
We decided this was home
Maybe this isn't true love
But I swear it used to seem real
No one could ever possibly match up
To the way you made me feel
But now we seem to be in the past tense
So I should just let it be
Lately I think theres no hope
Left for you and me
