Past The Age Of Innocence Poem by Jeremy Williams

Past The Age Of Innocence

Every smile tinged with sadness
That passing glance full of badness
That masked smile lingering for a while
With a sense of glad hidden behind
That's where I am right now
Mixed emotions fill me
Making me full somehow
Must be a sign somewhere in there
A sense of completion
The age of innocence has gone by
Not sure when, not sure why
Would I go back?
I wouldn't try
