Patient waits

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
120 people crammed into a 50 metre square courtroom. The magistrate has to get through all 120 cases in about 2 hours. Most cases have not moved forward since the last court appearance... so most of the accused are simply told to come back again in 5 months.

Nothing I do, think or say will speed up or change the process on the day I am there. I am in the hands of others. Learn to wait. Patiently.
I have been through this 16 times in the last 30 months. Lots of practice, then!

And patience is a virtue they say. Good one.
