Peace Poem by clay scott

Peace

a world torn apart lives little heart pain with sorrow feelings we need
as we live our lives covered in greed so many sins left unseen falls across
our children's eyes left to bleed hunger and death fills the soul when
no one cares and the world lets go a beautiful place we'll never know
peace on earth a Hollywood show animals its true we show our grace as tears stream down gods face when the world spins at a faster pace people deserve to know the truth as the whole world corrupts our youth a plague that takes children mothers and wives sweeps across Africa and into our lives a peasant among kings when everyone dies children aren't safe even today starving poor and thrown away so many people but no one to blame animals among men playing god like its a game now i ask you when peace will bloom out of the ashes of this darkened place

Excellent... quite some portrayal of the corrupt world.. sad, like a piece of 'clay' crumbling away... 10/10
