Peace Of Mind Poem by Rebecca Springsteen

Peace Of Mind

Rating: 4.5

The messages tell me sooner,

then my mind, it keeps on going low and lower.

Music is the only words I can understand, because here

my mind can't seem to understand anything ever.

The people seem to get further and further,

away from me, I think it's harder

for them that my bearer,

doesn't hold as much words. The faster

they speak the less larger

my mind is. It seems duller

then I remember, maybe the doctors made an error.

Everyone keeps on getting louder and louder,

just like the water in my head, the river.

I can't tell you what the season is or the weather.

it's an emotion conveyed very beautifully... Music is the key I find here.. its straight connected to a life of a common person stressed in daily activity... an Music gives such a relief.. Music is what the mind understands.. Thanks for sharing.... Keep writing... i think you should have a 10 from me

A moving poem, I don't know much about the academic side of poetry but this works for me ☺
