Pease Porridge Hot Rewrite

Pease porridge hot!
Pease porridge cold!
Pease porridge in the pot,
Nine days old

Some like it hot!
Some like it cold!
Some like it in the pot,
Nine days old

The original Mother Goose song above

My rewrite of the above, below

Some find decaying corpses smoking hot
Some find themselves turned off by decaying corpses so cold
Some get high on pot
These crazy few rush out and make hungry love to
Decaying corpses
Some only nine days in the ground old

Some find decaying corpses smoking hot
Some more than others like their lovers like this
So very cold
Some get just a bit too high doing their pot
Only to find themselves
In the wee hours of the morning making love to
Gross decaying corpses
Some only nine days in the ground old

Poem of the Day

poet Percy Bysshe Shelley

O World! O Life! O Time!
On whose last steps I climb,
Trembling at that where I had stood before;
When will return the glory of your prime?
No more -Oh, never more!
