I put a lot of myself into you
maybe you didn't notice
maybe you did
there was some I kept hid

What I put in you might not be felt
in a moment or a day
but I wish that it will
someday, somehow, someway

I am nothing
I never was very much
but in you I felt something
beautiful and lush

When I was a child
I tossed pebbles one by one
onto a still pond and watched
the circular waves continue on

And dreamed where they they went to
