Peculiar Mislaid Love Poem by Genesis Bernaldez

Peculiar Mislaid Love

The fragrance that stayed with you for years
The lipstick that painted love in your days
The nice-looking dress that covered your tears
And the glossy necklace that well-matched your face

All of these you have borne, at the same time with fears
All of these you have kept and persisted on your ways
All of these you have wept and smiled for the next
You'll be stuck in a peculiar mislaid love
