Peeping Fly Poem by Spock the Vegan

Peeping Fly

Rating: 4.7

A Fly Has 4000 Eyes
on each side of its head.
Does it see all 8000 images
at once, or only one instead?

They have an almost
360 degree vision
of the world, but cannot
control the precision

Some years ago,
I took my son
on a camping trip.
It was fun.

I escorted him to the outhouse,
but wasn't allowed to go in.
There was a fly
buzzing around within.

All 8000 eyes were looking
at him with his pants down.
I told him so.
He choked and made a frown.

Sometimes I've wished to be a fly on the wall, not on a toilet wall though. Ha ha. A humurous little poem. Well done.

I'm glad winter is almost here. No peeping flies to deal with in my house. Delightful poem.

Thanks. The flies seem to watch for an opening to dash into the house.
