Peer Pressure Poem by Alyssa Rieper

Peer Pressure

Sweet yet sour in her mouth
Blood from a fight dripping out
Everyone hates her, she knows it, too
But offending God is against her rule
She longed to speak about Him to some folks
But they laughed like it was a joke
It made her angry, she threw a punch
They fought back, she had that hunch
They didn’t like her and now she’s gone
Off to heaven, where nothing’s wrong
