Pendulum Poem by Archaeus Six

Pendulum

Have you ever been surrounded, by the sweetest of lights?
Not of the visible, and magnificent splendor,
Rather a touch of grace, while blind, to the most beatific of sights,
Oh how it vivifies the hopeful, I wish to engender.

I embraced with fear, the empowering pendulum of avarice,
My heart fixed in memory, upon the alter of the incorruptible,
That transient brilliance, on the horizon of a promising precipice,
Into the valley of the faithful, fortified by loving tears; Indestructible.

Release me once more from the heavenly recollection,
Find me in the longing of this moment,
Earnest, as a desire to heal.
Taste my lips with an empathy for imperfection,
In patience and gratitude will be the fading of this ordeal.

Bring to me beloved, all that I am not,
Answer me with completion, to all I have fought,
The most sweetest of lights,
While on the pendulum,
I forgot.
